This summer, we had an MSTP student, Mason Clark, rotate in our lab. Mason has been working on the composition of the lipid nanoparticles in mRNA vaccines. His project focused on testing how using different lipids can change manufacturing efficiency, immunogenicity, and tolerability of the vaccines. With a final presentation about his research at our lab meeting today, Mason is off to continue his M2 year of medical school.
